On the Feast of Ss John Fisher, Bishop, and Thomas More, Martyrs, join us for Holy Mass at the start of the day.
Our emcees for the day will unpack the theme of The Bible Summit, familiarise you with the timetable and spaces we'll use and run through some logistical points.
Lunch will be served in the Parish Centre. It will cater to all dietary requirements. There is overflow seating in Café Manoppello and you may like to eat your food outside in the square.
Throughout the day there is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament either in the church or in the small chapel attached to Café Manoppello. At this point in the day, we will spend time in adoration of our Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament and allow Him to speak into some of the deep truths that we have heard so far.
We engage with God’s Word on various levels - literal, allegorical, moral, and anagogical - learning how to approach your Bible in different ways can deepen your faith. Sr. Hyacinthe demonstrates how to apply this method to any passage, guiding you in prayer and spiritual growth.
“Who do you say that I am?” Jesus’ question echoes from the pages of the Bible, through history, to you. Blending the Gospel narratives with his own testimony of personal relationship with Christ, Fr Emmanuel helps us get to the heart of the matter by meeting Jesus in the Bible.
