To follow Christ in our world today often feels busy, pressured or scattered.
Perhaps we fight for prayer time - or forget it altogether. Perhaps Mass has become more obligation than willing, loving attendance. We move between work, relationships, screens and responsibilities, and faith can slowly become just one part of life, rather than its centre.
St Patrick's Summit 2026, Freedom of the Heart, will explore how the monastic tradition offers a way of living as followers of Christ in which prayer, desire, work and faith hold together in an increasingly seamless unity.
We are honoured to welcome Bishop Erik Varden and Fr Jacques Philippe, alongside Sr Lucy OP and Sr Carino OP of the Dominican Sisters of St Joseph.
Through keynotes, real dialogue, practical workshops and time for prayer, this day is not simply about ideas, but about formation that leads to transformation: providing insights and tools for Christians whose faith is confident, coherent and alive in the modern world.
