What is RCIA?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults are welcomed into the Catholic Church. It is a structured course of catechesis designed to prepare individuals to receive the Sacraments of Initiation — Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation — and to become full member of the Body of Christ, the Church.
Through weekly gatherings, prayer, and guided instruction, participants journey together in a supportive small group, culminating in the reception of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
