Two new saints, canonised this year, guide us on this journey: St Pier Giorgio Frassati, who lived out his faith fully in the world: courageous, joyful, involved in positive social action and serving others. St Carlo Acutis, whose love for the Eucharist shows us how to awaken our hearts to Christ’s living presence, even amid the distractions of modern life.
Together they remind us that holiness is both active and contemplative — found in serving others and in creating space for God.
