Explore the richness of your Catholic Faith through the Wisdom Summit. We will explore the wisdom of Catholic tradition on the pressing issues of our day.
Growing in the Spiritual Life
Fr Jacques Philippe is a member of the Community of the Beatitudes in France. With over one million copies sold in 24 languages, Fr Jacques' writings on themes such as prayer, interior freedom, and peace of heart have become classics of modern Catholic spirituality.
How to discern God’s will for your life
Kerri Christopher, MA, STL, works as a life consultant, helping people learn to discern so they can live with purpose and peace. Her background as a professor of theology serves as the foundation for her practical work. Her talk will explore some of the common problems in understanding God’s will and how to practically engage in the spiritual art of discernment.
Lectio Divina with the Psalms
Father John Jesus Moloney, is a brother of the Community of St John and Catholic priest residing with the brothers in Forest Gate, East London in the parish of St Antony's, where he is prior of the community of the brothers. Originally from Ireland, Fr John has spent periods of his life serving in Africa and also on the Mexican-American border.
Finding God in All Things
Emma is the Director for Pray As You Go, an Ignatian spirituality-based podcast and app. She has been immersed in all things Ignatian for over a decade. She is also involved in a number of Christian worship and music projects. She will be speaking about how we can recognise God moving and working in all places and how to let life itself become a prayer.
Musician for our Mass and Holy Hour
Joanna is a Catholic creative and full time missionary. Songwriting is her passion and she has a degree in Psychology and Counselling. Art has a profound impact on her faith and life, but music in particular is one of the most powerful ways that she communicates with God. She feels called to use this gift to encourage and lead others into worship and creativity.
Using Scripture to understand the Rosary
Sr Carino Hodder OP is a Dominican Sister of St Joseph who currently works with the sisters' apostolate of adult faith formation, Light of Truth. She will be exploring how to go deeper into the rosary using the tools that the Church gives us to read and understand the sacred scriptures.
