Our Open House evening meals happen every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening. Our team of 160 cooks lovingly prepare dishes which are served to our Open House guests by our volunteers in the parish centre. As well as the tasty two-course dinner, at the end of every evening, we all sit together to spend time in prayer and reflection.
Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings
Breakfast club offers those sleeping on the streets a place to come inside, enjoy a cooked breakfast, hot shower, and quiet cuppa over the morning papers. Our volunteers offer a warm welcome to our guests every Monday, Friday, and Saturday morning. Our chapel is always open to our guests and volunteers should they want to step away from the rush of the city for a while and into a place of peace, prayer, and reflection.
First Sunday evening of every month
Our homeless and vulnerable guests spend their days in Soho and the West End surrounded by expensive cinemas they are unlikely to see a film in - this is why we launched our own film club! On the first Sunday evening of every month, St Patrick's film club screens a wide range of classic and contemporary movies on the big screen in our parish centre. Our volunteers welcome guests with hot snacks and drinks, and everyone settles in to enjoy a great film and a chat about it afterwards.
Currently on hold
Night shelter was put on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic due to government restrictions. We have since been developing plans to bring back a service which best serves the new needs of the community, which we hope to launch with our local partners soon.
If you're interested in serving at St Patrick's, let us know by registering your interest and we'll be in touch.
Open House runs completely on donations and we are grateful for whatever you can give. Donations of clothing and food are gratefully accepted but please first see our list of recommended donations.
