I was born in Dorset in 1957 where my family have always lived. After University in Edinburgh I studied for the Priesthood in Rome and after ordination served as curate, prison chaplain in Feltham. From there I went to be chaplain in St. Charles 6th Form College, then as a Parish Priest to St Margaret's in Twickenham before coming to St. Patrick's in October 2001. I believe that St Patrick's is full of challenges, most of all evangelisation and outreach to the poor. I am grateful for the sacrifices and prayers over the last 200 years of Parish history but also believe that a new chapter, which is both faithful to the past and which meets the challenges of the future, is upon us. I ask all of you very much who visit this site to keep the Parish in your prayers asking that God will continue to bless it. You can reach me on 020 7437 2010 or email me.

I belong to the congregation of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God and I share the responsibilities for the catechetics, pastoral work and finances of the Parish, which I joined in 1995. I was born in Tullamore in Ireland in 1927. I entered our congregation in 1949 and since then I have shared in varied apostolates of teaching, pastoral ministry and spent 10 years in our South American mission in Maracaibo ( Venezuela). You can reach me on 020 7437 2010 or email me.

I began my musical training in Belfast studying oboe and cor anglais in addition to voice. I studied music at the University of Ulster and subsequently continued my vocal training in London with Heidi Peglar, Marjorie Thomas (Royal Academy of Music) and currently, Eileen Price (Guildhall College of Music) while also teaching music myself. In November 2004 I completed a Masters degree on traditional Irish songs.
My participation in, and contribution to music liturgy began at the age of twelve, and I have been a member of a number of church choirs and folk-groups. As a founder member of the Irish liturgical music group Solas I contributed to three of their CD recordings plus the promotion of these recordings and Solas music in Ireland and the USA. In 2000 I was one of three Sopranos to perform the world premiere of Jo Estorninho’s commissioned work, Stations of Love, a series of fourteen songs based on the Stations of the Cross. I took up the post as Director of Music at St Patrick’s in June 2004. I am also a Cantor at Westminster Cathedral.
In addition to music liturgy I also regularly perform as a soloist in recitals, concerts and occasionally opera.

Of Belgian roots, but born and raised in Canada (Toronto area), I am now based in London here at St Patrick’s with family and friends on both sides of the Atlantic. I came to London in October 2004 seeking the fullness of life, having recently begun to seriously seek the Truth of my faith. I found out about SPES not long after arriving in London and it was very clear I was being called to give a year of my life to God; to take a ‘pause’ moment to discern my vocation, serve my neighbour and become ‘ready to give an account of the hope that is within me’. After completing my year of training and formation here at the School of Evangelisation, I decided to stay on at the parish and help with the School. I have since been asked to lead the program working for, and alongside, Father Alexander. It is truly a blessing to be given such a privileged opportunity to be a part of all that happens here at St Patrick’s.

I was born in Poland and after finishing University in 2003 came to London. In 2004 I joined SPES which was a life changing decision. Towards the end of my first year in SPES I met Terry Toolan, to whom I am now engaged. (The wedding is on 26 July 2008!). In autumn 2007, I took up the role of Evangelisation Assistant, to help Jeanine with SPES and to manage Open House, SOS, Cenacolo, and all other parish outreaches.

I was born in Canton, China in 1935 and brought up in Hong Kong, where I came from a traditional Buddhist family. I came to England to finish my second part of my education at St. John’s College in South Sea. I was attending the London School of Economics, when I received my ‘call’. I left the LSE part of my way through to join the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers). After my ordination, in 1969 I was sent to Tanzania in East Africa. I transferred to Nairobi and my last post was at the Catholic University of East Africa. I came back to the UK in 1999, where I have been helping out at various parishes before taking up the position of Acting Chaplain to the Chinese Community at St. Patrick’s. You can reach me on 07946 383 659.

I was born in Spain in 1935. I am the Chaplain to the Latin American community here in London and I am very happy to be working at St. Patrick's. As Chaplain we say mass at five parishes around London. The number of recent immigrants from Latin America is ever increasing and with it more challenges to be faced. My team and I are available for any pastoral need including sacramental preparation, counselling and marriage preparation. Please call us on 0207 937 5837 or 07941 592 764 or you can email me.

Originally from Perth, Australia, I graduated with a Degree in Physical and Health Education, majoring in exercise physiology and psychology followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Education. I have also completed a Science/Nursing Degree and a Masters in FertilityCare from the Pope Paul 6 th Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction and Creighton University in the USA. This background enables me to provide holistic care for those seeking to understand the ‘mystery’ of their fertility and gynaecological health. I have recently established a FertilityCare Centre here in the heart of London and my role is to provide individuals and couples with both FertilityCare Practitioner and Educational services. Through the use of NaproTechnology and the Creighton Model System, assistance and treatment is provided for those experiencing infertility as well as those seeking Natural Fertility Management and Co-operative gynaecological healthcare.
I can be contacted at The London FertilityCare™ Centre on 020 7437 0892

Ambrose is the newest and most popular member of the parish team. He arrived as a 50th Birthday surprise for Fr. Alexander in December 2007 and is enjoying being part of this busy parish.

These fantastic people are our hard working volunteers that are the backbone of the Parish. John and Sr. Elizabeth work tirelessly to keep the church’s money in order. Michael is always happy to roll up his sleeves and help with anything and Maria keeps the church clean and tidy. Alina & Betty work hard to keep the plants and flowers looking their best in the church while Annemarie and Clare Bruce help to coordinate Open House.
