Concerts & Events
St Patrick’s is an excellent venue for secular and sacred concerts and events. Seating up to 300 people, its beautifully ethereal acoustic has attracted a number of choirs and instrumental and vocal groups to the church. It also boasts a state-of-the-art PA system designed and installed in 2007 by Sound by Design, and a three-manual Eminent digital organ. St Patricks’ historic eighteenth century pipe organ is alas under restoration, and is expected to be working again in 2009.
Many concerts have taken place over recent years, including
- Musical events celebrating Spanish and Italian culture
- Fundraising concerts on behalf of St Patrick’s
- A reflective and prayerful concerts remembering those killed and injured in the 7th July attacks
- St Patrick’s Day annual concerts
- High-profile Christmas concerts featuring classical, gospel and children’s choirs
