A message from
Archbishop Vincent Nichols
I am very happy to know that St Patrick’s, Soho has reached an important milestone in its fundraising campaign and that the necessary and urgent works will start on the church in the beginning of next year. In the history of the Diocese, St Patrick’s has always had a special place, bringing the presence of the Lord to a very particular part of London. This work must continue, especially reaching out to those in great need. For these reasons I am very grateful to all who are supporting this project with prayers and generosity. This is an important part of our mission in London today.
With my prayers and best wishes

Vincent Nichols
Archbishop of Westminster
A message from His Eminence Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor
I am delighted to support the Appeal for St. Patrick’s in Soho. It is one of the oldest Parishes in the Diocese and has always been both missionary in its pastoral work and outreach to the poor as well as a spiritual oasis to those who want to find silence and communion with the God who loves us unconditionally. Over two hundred years the mission is the same but in a different guise. I am very happy to support this important Appeal and would ask you urgently not only to pray for it but to support it in other ways.

Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor,
Emeritus Archbishop of Westminster |
